 TOTAL SPANISH IMMERSION PROGRAM

 “Know Chile, the culture and the people”

 

1. Project Description:

 

a) The Instituto Chileno de la Lengua (ICHIL) is offering an all-inclusive immersion program with activities between January 9th and 28th 2012.

The main objective of this program is to offer students a total immersion program in the Spanish Language in which they will have an opportunity to know a Latin American country and its people.

b) The course lasts three weeks, from Monday to Friday, totaling 100 hours.  It is divided into 70 hours in morning classes and 30 hours of cultural and recreation activities in the afternoon, such as viewings of Chilean cinema; city tours; visits to museums and historic sites like Isla Negra – Museum of Pablo Neruda (recipient of Noble Prize in Literature). All activities are included in the price of course

 

2. Certification:

 

After finishing the course, the student will receive a certificate for completing 100 hours of classes.

3. Lodging:

 

Students stay at Chilean family homes, where they get an individual room, breakfast, dinner and laundry.

 

4. Transportation:

 

Students will be provided transportation to and from the airport.

5. Price of Course:

 

The price of the course is $990. This includes the Spanish Immersion Program, lodging, transportation to and from airport, and all activities in section “b”.

ICHIL looks after the well being of the student throughout the program.
